Caravan insurance news: Attend the Gurkha Festival of Music in Kent

3 March 2010
Touring caravan insurance customers planning to take a break next month will find no shortage of exciting events taking place in and around the Kent area.

One highlight of the county's social calendar is the annual Gurkha Festival of Music.

Taking place from April 8th to April 10th at Nye Hall, the event is held in memory of those who lost their lives at Dunkirk and the Normandy Landings during World War II.

Some of the acts that have appeared in previous years include Snowdon Male Voice Choir, the Folkestone Choral Society, the Canterbury Choral Society and singers from The Royal College of Music.

The world famous Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas will be making an appearance next month, along with vocalists Tim Pitman and Rebecca Robinson.

Other events taking place in the county over the coming months include the Rochester Sweeps Festival and Broadstairs Dickens Festival.
