Motorhome insurance news: Heading to Ireland by sea 'has many advantages'

7 July 2010
As most motorhome insurance customers will already know, travelling to your destination by sea has many advantages over flying.

Speaking earlier this week, Tourism Ireland noted that there are currently 15 ferry routes running between Britain and the Emerald Isle, with 277 crossings each way per week.

Some of the companies operating ferries include Stena Line, Irish Ferries, Isle of Man Steam Packet and Norfolkline.

"By taking your own [vehicle] you can truly go where Ireland takes you. Enjoy the freedom to go where you want, when you want," the organisation stated.

Furthermore, taking your motorhome means you can pack as much as you like, without worrying about baggage restrictions.

In addition, your vehicle can be loaded with bicycles, surfboards and fishing equipment, meaning you can make the most of everything Ireland has to offer.

Some of the events that motorhome insurance customers can enjoy in the country this summer include the West Cork Literary Festival, Dublin Summer Sensational and Belfast Taste and Music Fest.
