Welsh site recommended for touring caravan insurance customers

26 July 2010
Touring caravan insurance customers looking to enjoy a break in rural Wales have been advised to try the Rhandirmwyn site.

Situated in Carmarthenshire's Towy Valley, this secluded Camping and Caravanning Club facility is popular with walkers and wildlife enthusiasts from around the UK.

The 90-pitch site offers visitors the prospect of a real country retreat, as it is out of range for mobile phone signals.

In addition, club member Richard Fell has described Rhandirmwyn as "a peaceful spot in beautiful countryside", suggesting the site should appeal to caravan owners with a desire to escape from the rat race.

However, a number of popular attractions are located within driving distance, such as the Dinas Nature Reserve, the Llyn Brianne Reservoir and the market town of Lampeter.

Visitors may also like to visit the River Towy, which flows for some 70 miles through Wales and is noted among local anglers for its trout and salmon species.
