Features of the Home Product
- Blanket Cover Provided
- £400,000 of Buildings cover and £50,000 of Contents cover as standard.
This is subject to underwriting acceptance criteria. Standard and Accidental
Damage cover options are available. The provision of blanket cover options for
both Buildings and Contents are market-leading features for a Broker product.
- Provides cover for 180 days away from the home
- Many insurers restrict absence from the home to just 30 days.
- Homecare Services
- Cover for Trees, Shrubs, plants and lawns is provided as an additional
benefit with either Buildings or Contents cover.
- No Claims Discount
- This scale will allow claim free customers discounts of up to 25%.
- Introductory Discount
- 10% introductory discount.
- Home Emergency Assistance Cover up to £250
- This provides cover for Emergency Repairs and costs for overnight
accommodation should the property be uninhabitable due to the emergency.
- Student's Belongings
- These are covered within temporary removal of the Contents with no inner
limit for family whilst away at College or University.
- Christmas Seasonal Increase and Wedding Gifts
- Contents cover increased by £1,000 during December and for one month
before and after the Wedding day.

- World wide cover for Personal Belongings — perfect for day to day life
when you are travelling.

- Dedicated claims handling team accessed via a dedicated telephone line
- 24hour, 365 days claims handling service
- Immediate solutions provided for low complexity ‘Express’ claims with
the outcome concluded as far as possible during the first telephone call
- Claims can be approved on site by our assessors using the latest palm
held technology — our people own and settle claims in the field
- Claims of higher complexity are dealt with by our mobile loss adjusting
team
- Our assessors and mobile loss adjusting team have delegated authority to
settle claims up to £100k and own the claim through to settlement
